PLEASE NOTE: MidAmerica has changed our Premium Reimbursement process beginning September 1st, 2018.
As long as a monthly premium remains in effect your claim reimbursement will be processed within the first 7-10 business days of each month. Payment is automatic and no additional action is required at this time. For additional information please contact Participant Services toll-free at 855-329-0095. When it's time to renew your claim, we'll send a reminder email thirty days in advance of your policy expiration date.
Don’t forget – if your policy amount changes, your coverage is discontinued, or you begin receiving a Premium Tax Credit (PTC) you must contact MidAmerica to update your premium payment(s) to avoid potentially adverse tax consequences per IRS regulations.
